There are many benefits that come along with employment at Keans. Our customer service representatives and production personnel have access to short-term disability insurance and life insurance.
We offer one week of vacation after a year of service, and two weeks of vacation at two years.
Uniforms are cleaned and pressed free of charge. Employee’s personal clothing items are pressed at ½ off the regular price.
Of particular interest is our tuition reimbursement program. Any employee working an average of 20 hours per week for six months is eligible to receive $750 per semester tuition reimbursement each semester at LSU, SU, or BRCC. We care about our employees!
Positions available
Customer Service Representatives – Attention to detail and a love of people are important requirements for this job. This person interacts daily with our customers. This is a busy position, so CSR’s must be friendly, knowledgeable, and always well-groomed. They greet customers; sort and tag garments brought in for cleaning, and accept customer payments. Our customers are usually in a hurry, and we want to get them on their way quickly and with a smile! Kean’s CSR’s work shifts between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Production Personnel – The goal of Kean’s is to return clothes to as-near-as-new condition as possible. Our production personnel perform the cleaning and pressing functions that make clothes look good. Our employees use state-of-the-art equipment and the finest products available in the market. The schedule for production personnel usually starts at 7 a.m. each business day.
Plant Managers – Our plant managers are organized, efficient, and team-oriented people! They are 100% focused on quality and great customer service. Kean’s Managers must possess good administrative, public relations and customer service skills. They implement a daily work plan based on forecasts and projections, and ensure that work is completed on a timely basis.
