Everyday Problems ... Easy Answers

Did you know that most drink spills and fruit sprays contain sugar, and that the sugar in these drinks and can turn spots yellow or brown?

  1. Many of these spills and sprays are clear in color when they land on clothing.
  2. If the clothing is left uncleaned – for a week or more – these "invisible" stains can take on color.
  3. Once a stain turns yellow or brown, it can be very difficult, and sometimes impossible to remove – even with the aid of bleach.

Try to be aware of sprays and spills when they happen, be sure to wash or dryclean this clothing within 24-48 hours, and when possible point out the stained areas to your drycleaner.
